Terms and Conditions

Welcome to AI Music Monthly. By entering our competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to creators worldwide.
  • Age Requirement: If an artist is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must enter the competition on their behalf and supervise the submission.
  • For the September competition, entry is free and limited to one entry per person.

2. Submissions and Entry Fees

  • All entries must be submitted via the official submissions page.
  • The September competition itself is free to enter. The prize money remains unchanged.
  • An optional $5 Pro Critique Review is available separately. The Pro Critique Review is non-refundable once paid.

3. Usage Rights and Intellectual Property

  • By entering the competition, the artist (or parent/guardian) grants AI Music Monthly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, post and share the submitted track.
  • This includes sharing the track on social media, our website and promotional materials in the event of winning a prize or as part of a celebratory spotlight.
  • The artist retains original ownership of their work, but grants us the rights to celebrate and promote their talent.

4. Prizes and Payments

  • Prizes are awarded monthly and the prize money remains unchanged for the September competition.
  • All prize payments are sent via PayPal to the email address provided during entry. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure the PayPal email is correct.

5. General Rules

  • Content Appropriateness and Creative Expression: Submissions must not contain hate speech, including racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism or discrimination against any protected group. Any track promoting or inciting violence or hatred against individuals will be disqualified immediately.
  • Tracks containing explicit language, raw themes or high-risk content may be considered when the content functions as a valid artistic narrative and does not breach the prohibition against targeted harassment, hate speech or incitement of real-world violence.
  • The Promoter reserves the sole right to determine whether a submission meets these creative boundaries.
  • We reserve the right to disqualify entries that violate our community standards or use unauthorised copyrighted material.
  • The judges’ decisions are final.
